For over four decades, Peter Popoff Ministries has been closely and intimately involved with those who have been persecuted for their faith. People who are part of the underground or persecuted church have long been the object of Peter’s prayer, support, and focus.
Peter has helped pastors, supported underground missionaries, and sponsored churches. He has distributed millions of pieces of literature to fan the flame of revival in areas where the Gospel is restricted or forbidden. Peter has faithfully distributed the Word of God and lifted up the name of Jesus Christ in the face of tremendous opposition and persecution.
Over the past two decades, Peter Popoff Ministries has built and sponsored over 140 churches and 20 orphanages throughout the former Soviet Union. Many of these churches have been built in areas where the Communist governments had torn down all churches.
It is impossible to give exact statistics of the Kingdom impact of this investment. Each church that is opened plants 10 or 15 more churches. They send missionaries to the Muslim Republics and pastors to Siberia to establish new churches there.
The tons of literature Peter printed and distributed in Russia and China has produced an awesome harvest of souls.
For example, in China today there are thousands of house churches who are raising an army of one million young men and women determined to evangelize the entire Muslim world.
Many of these Chinese young people are walking across India toward Jerusalem to reach and evangelize the Middle East. Because the Chinese are very poor, these young soldiers for Christ walk the hundreds and even thousands of miles to reach their destinations. They do not fear martyrdom or hardship. Their face is set and their purpose is clear.
The news will never report this; the talk shows will never discuss this; but because of Peter’s influence beginning years ago one million Chinese missionaries are on their way to invade nations with a powerful testimony of Jesus Christ!
This is an amazing move of God; a modern day exodus of God’s people piercing the veil of darkness and invading heathen nations with the miracle power of God.
In Africa, Peter launched a free medical outpatient children’s hospital staffed by doctors who are believers and powerful witnesses for Christ. This has been a major testimony to unbelievers that the love and compassion of Jesus Christ is real and working in the earth today!
God’s Kingdom is on the move, advancing throughout the earth with power and authority in the glorious name of Jesus.
